Shenzhen defeats Qingdao 2-0 in Chinese Super League

Shenzhen Kaisa beat Qingdao Huanghai 2-0 in the second leg of the Chinese Super League (CSL) 13rd-14th place playoffs on Friday.

DALIAN, China, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Preciado and Wang Yongpo scored as Shenzhen Kaisa beat Qingdao Huanghai 2-0 in the second leg of the Chinese Super League (CSL) 13rd-14th place playoffs on Friday.

Colombian Preciado opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a curving effort from left side of the box. John Mary nearly doubled the lead for Shenzhen in the 37th minute but his header was cancelled by the referee due to offside.

Shenzhen controlled the game well in the second half. Wang Yongpo fired a powerful shot into the far corner from the arc in the 55th minute, gifting Shenzhen a 2-0 lead. Pei Shuai had the chance to add a cherry on the cake, only to see his volley hit the bar.

"The two sides were relaxed today, so we played a good match together," Shenzhen's coach Jordi Cruyff said after the match.
